Rewards up to $1,000
 

Special Reward Funds

Each of these reward funds have been established with funding from third-parties. To be eligible to receive one of these rewards, you must call the Crime Stoppers tip line 888 580-8477 and your tip must lead to an arrest and in some cases a conviction.

Hate Crime Reward Fund: A reward of up to $10,000. Crime Stoppers standard reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest for a hate crime in San Diego County. An additional reward of up to $9,000 is available on conviction. Established by leaders in the gay and lesbian community.

Copper Wire Thefts at SDG&E Facilities: A reward of up to $2,000. Crime Stoppers standard reward of up to $1,000 is combined with a reward of up to $1,000 from SDG&E for information leading to an arrest of a suspect in one of the copper wire thefts at SDG&E facilities in San Diego County. Established by SDG&E.

Arson Reward Fund: A reward of up to $10,000. Crime Stoppers standard reward of up to $1,000 is available for information leading to an arrest in any felony arson in San Diego County. An additional reward of up to $9,000 is available on conviction. Established by the County of San Diego.

Transit Reward Fund: A reward of up to $6,000. Crime Stoppers standard reward of up to $1,000 is combined with a reward of up to $5,000 from the Metropolitan Transit System for information leading to an arrest of a suspect who commits a crime on an MTS bus or at an MTS bus stop. Established by the Metropolitan Transit System
