Photos of Suspect
Reward of up to $1,000

San Diego Police Child Abuse detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a child molest suspect. The suspect has been linked to at least two incidents in San Diego. Both incidents occurred inside Wal-Mart stores. The first incident occurred at the Wal-Mart in College Grove on April 1, 2009, in the early evening. The second incident occurred at Wal-Mart in Kearny Mesa on May 17, 2009, in the afternoon.

The victims in both cases were young, five and six year-old girls who were fondled by the suspect. Neither victim was injured during the incident. Both victims were separated from their parents, who were a short distance away inside the store when the suspect approached them.

The suspect is described as a White male, 25 to 30 years old, brown short hair, about 6 feet tall, with a medium build. The suspect was wearing a blue short-sleeved shirt and jeans. In the second case, the suspect was seen getting into a 1998 to 2006, full-size, similar to a Ford, four-door “crew cab” style truck. The truck is dark in color, possibly burgundy, and has a silver or chrome colored storage box in the bed.
