Cold Case Homicide Cards
back

San Diego county law enforcement agencies are investigating 2,000 cold case homicides. When homcides go unsolved our community suffers. Not only are our streets unsafe with murderers going free; victims and their families do not see justice. They deserve justice.

Crime Stoppers programs in other communities have created cold case homicide card programs with the goal of obtaining leads on these hard to solve case. In Florida, three cases have been solved and many good leads have been obtained.

San Diego County Crime Stoppers partnered with law enforcement agencies throughout the county to profile 52 cold case homicides. A short description of each of these cases is printed on a set of playing cards. Our anonymous tip line for Crime Stoppers is also printed on each card.

The cards will be distributed at local jails through their commissaries. It is our hope that inmates in our jails have information about some of these case and will be willing to share this information for a reward of up to $1,000.

Cards are available to Crime Stoppers members and donors.
