On Friday, July 16, 2010, at approximately 2:00 p.m. the North Island Credit Union, located at 45 North Broadway, Chula Vista, California was robbed by an unknown male using a demand note. The robber entered the bank and stood in the customer line, waiting for the next available teller. A teller called for the robber to come to their window. When the robber arrived at the window, he was holding a standard envelope with the demand note placed on top of the envelope. The teller opened the cash drawer and provided the robber a sum of money. The robber reached forward, grabbed the money and put the money into his pants pockets. The robber exited the bank through the north. |

On Friday, July 16, 2010, at approximately 9:30 a.m., an unknown male attempted to rob one of the tellers at the Point Loma Credit Union, 3003 Highland Avenue, National City, California. At the time of the robbery, the robber approached a teller and presented a demand note written on a full sheet of lined paper. The demand note demanded a specific amount of money. The robber also gestured to the teller that he was armed with a weapon. The teller advised the robber that he/she did not have the amount of money he was demanding and would need to get the money from the vault. The robber ordered the teller to retrieve the money from the vault and warned the teller not to contact police. The teller walked away from their teller station and alerted a supervisor, who initiated bank security protocols. The robber attempted to go behind the teller counter, but was unsuccessful. The robber left the credit union without receiving any money. |

On Monday, July 5, 2010, at approximately 9:40 a.m., an unknown female hereinafter referred to as the robber, robbed the US Bank, located inside of the Albertsons Grocery Store at 1301 East Vista Way, Vista, California. At the time of the robbery, the robber approached a teller and made a verbal demand for money threatening to possess a weapon. The robber threatened to use the weapon against the teller, if the teller did not comply with her demands. The teller was ordered to put the money inside of a blue cloth bag the robber was carrying. The teller placed the money inside of the bag as instructed by the robber. The robber then grabbed the bag from the teller, at which time some of the money fell out of the bag and onto the floor. On Saturday, July 03, 2010, at approximately 1:47 p.m. an unknown male attempted to rob a teller at the Bank of America, located at 9290 Mira Mesa Blvd., San Diego, California. During today’s attempted robbery, the suspect presented a demand note to the teller. The teller did not give the suspect any money and the suspect fled the bank. Upon being made aware of the attempted robbery, a customer who happened to be a federal law enforcement agent, chased the suspect for approximately three blocks before losing sight of him. The suspect was last seen in the in the 9200 block of Gemini Avenue |

On Thursday, July 1, 2010, at approximately 12:26 p.m., an unknown male wielding a knife, robbed two tellers at the Wells Fargo Bank, 5500 Grossmont Center Drive, La Mesa, CA. At the time of the robbery, the robber ran into the bank, jumped over the teller counter, pointed a knife at a teller and proceeded to rob the teller. The robber then pointed the knife at a second teller and demanded money. The robber placed the money inside of a white bag he was carrying. After receiving a sum of money from both tellers, the robber ran out of the bank. The robber was last seen running southwest towards Jackson Drive. No injuries were reported |

On Wednesday, June 9, 2010, two black males entered the Wells Fargo Bank, located at 8876 Navajo Road, in San Diego. They both threatened the bank employees with handguns and stole money from three clerks and the vault. The men exited the bank and were seen leaving in a silver Ford Explorer. Some of the money and clothing were left in the parking lot. Some more money was found on Boulder Lake Avenue nearby. The suspects were both dressed in black hoodies and black pants. No one was injured. |

The robber presented a demand note for cash and verbally affirmed to the teller that he was there to rob her. After receiving a sum of money from the teller, the robber walked out of the bank. Investigators believe that today’s robbery was committed by the same person who robbed the same bank on September 23, 2009. |

On Monday, June 7, 2010 at approximately, 9:20 a.m., an unknown male used a demand note to rob a teller at the Chase Bank, 4627 College Avenue, San Diego, California. At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank and walked over to the stand alone counter in the middle of the bank lobby. While at the counter, it is believed the robber prepared his demand note that he subsequently presented to the teller. The robber then waited in line and presented the demand note to the teller. After receiving a sum of money, the robber walked out of the bank. Investigators believe that this bank robber is the same individual responsible for robbing the Bank of America, 4166 El Cajon Blvd., San Diego, on Friday, May 28, 2010. |

On Tuesday, May 25, 2010, at approximately, 9:44 a.m. an unknown male entered the Chase Bank,located at 866 North Johnson and robbed two tellers on duty. At the time of the robbery, the robber entered the bank and immediately ran towards the teller counter and vaulted the teller counter. After vaulting the counter, the robber grabbed the first teller around the neck and ordered her to open her cash drawer. While continuing to hold the first teller around the neck, the robber ordered a second teller next to the first teller to give him money. The robber threatened to hurt the first teller if the second teller did not give him any money. After receiving a sum of money from both tellers, the robber vaulted back over the counter into the lobby area and ran out of the bank. The robber was last seen running westbound from the bank. |
